Called the office to let them know my issues and asked if we could get someone out to look at my door. Was told between 11-12...drove home from work at 11:05 and Emil was waiting and ready to get to work. What Elk Grove weather does to a garage door
Wikipedia's climate table for Elk Grove does not name its weather station. It shows mean daily highs of 88 degrees in June, 93 in July and 92 in August, a record high of 117 in September, and about 18.59 inches of rain a year. Long hot spells dry out lubricant and rubber seals and make an opener motor work harder.
Sacramento reached 116 degrees on September 6, 2022, its highest ever recorded, and SMUD warned of possible rotating outages that week, according to CapRadio. Elk Grove's own 117 record comes from a different series than Sacramento's. Regional news has reported winter gusts up to 65 mph and large SMUD outages, but we did not verify Elk Grove counts or confirm that SMUD serves the whole city. We found no city wildfire or flood event to cite.
